Description We are on the lookout for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in East Lansing, Michigan. In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing and maintaining our network infrastructure. Your role will involve working with Cisco technologies, implementing Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and ensuring the smooth running of our network systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage our network infrastructure, ensuring its optimal performance

• Implement and manage Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to ensure smooth network traffic flow

• Work with Cisco ASA and Cisco Routers, maintaining their efficiency and performance

• Handle network security aspects, using Checkpoint technologies to safeguard our systems

• Ensure the configuration management of our network systems, keeping them updated and efficient

• Operate within our data center, managing and maintaining our network systems

• Work with backup technologies to ensure data safety and availability

• Handle Juniper network equipment, ensuring its optimal performance and efficiency. Requirements • Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is required.

• Familiarity with Checkpoint is essential.

• Proficient in operating Cisco ASA.

• Demonstrated experience with Cisco Routers is necessary.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco Technologies is mandatory.

• Adeptness in Backup Technologies is expected.

• Excellent configuration management skills are vital.

• Experience working in a datacenter environment is necessary.
