Description

Our client is a high-growth company searching for a dedicated and driven Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is an amazing opportunity for a high-performing individual to contribute to their continued expansion as a Senior Accountant. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule

  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention

  • Review all intercompany transactions, ledgers, and ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping activities

  • Coordinate with Tax Accountants to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance

  • Participate in strategic data analysis, financial modelling & forecasting

  • Conduct regular ledger maintenance

  • Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines

  • Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with many stakeholders including staff, suppliers, clients, and auditors

Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role or audit in public accounting.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Demonstrated experience with General Ledger maintenance.

• Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Familiarity with ASC 606 accounting standard.

• Proven experience in Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Participation in an Annual External Audit.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
