Position Summary
Basic Function/Summary: As a key player in delivering exceptional customer service, this role engages with both external and internal stakeholders to enhance their experience, plays a crucial role in fraud prevention and manages Act One School Series ticketing operations with precision.
Key Objectives: The Ticketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the Wharton Center's Ticket Office, driving excellence in several core functions. This role encompasses: delivering outstanding customer service; overseeing events; providing third-level supervision of student team; supporting fraud detection efforts; managing ticketing services for Act One School Series; executing daily batch and deposit reports; implementing daily opening and closing procedures, to include cash handling; serving as the primary point of contact for ticket requests for Wharton Center's Development and Marketing teams. The candidate must demonstrate adaptability by being available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver Outstanding Customer Service and Supervise Events as needed.
• Collaborate on Student Team Development to train, develop, and evaluate student staff, fostering a motivated and high-performing team environment.
• Support Fraud Detection efforts.
• Manage Ticketing Services for the Act One School Series.
• Execute Daily Operations, to include ticket printing and mailing, compile settlement and deposit reports for Finance team and maintain accurate cash and coin level via change order.
• Liaise with Development and Marketing teams on complimentary ticket requests.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; six months to a year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in typing, spreadsheet software and word processing; may require experience as a Cashier/Teller and in bookkeeping/accounting procedures or knowledge of technical or medical terminology and/or technical training related to the field of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
A bachelors degree or equivalent. Five years of experience in office or department administration. Office management experience. Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience as a Cashier/Teller and in bookkeeping/accounting procedures is preferred.
