Great Robotics Technician/Programmer Opportunity

Location: East Liberty

Job Description

• Implement improvements to robotic systems (Welding, Sealing, and Handling) and improve overall product Quality.

• Evaluate efficiency of welding jobs.

• Modify existing robot programs to accommodate new models.

• Support installation, programming, and maturation of new robot systems.

• Support recovery from downtime in any assigned zone within the department as needed.

Essential Function and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot Robot concerns and make program adjustments and improvements as necessary.

• Effectively program robots to New Model Specifications and program robots as required to ensure a successful launch.

• Evaluate and improve mass production quality of Weld applications and implement improvements to improve quality pass rates.

• Evaluate and improve mass production delivery of Weld applications and implement improvements to improve delivery pass rates.

• Interact with associates & robotics in a safe and reliable manner.

Daily Tasks:

• Plan and Report Daily Activity to support Safe and High Quality production of our products.

• Support Individual and Department projects.

• Support downtime situations by participating in Trouble Shooting activities.

• Attend required meetings.

Work Schedule: 3:45pm-2:15am, 50 hours per week.

Work Environment

This position is located at the East Liberty Plant in East Liberty, Ohio. All positions are on 2nd shift (Will train on 1st and move to another shift). Candidates have to be open to any shift. Japanese Automotive Environment; just in time and wear multiple hats. Heavy hands-on manufacturing: 75% of the time will be spent on the floor and 25% of the time will be in office setting/meetings. Will be wearing all white uniforms. 2 10-minute breaks and 1 30-minute lunch
