Now hiring a full-time Nursing Assistant for our Med-Surg/Telemetry Unit! This is a variable, 12-hour shift position. Must have open availability!

East Liverpool City Hospital is an award-winning community hospital proudly serving residents of the tristate region since 1905. With 152 licensed beds and more than 500 employees, the hospital averages 31,000 Emergency Department visits annually. East Liverpool's medical staff is comprised of more than 160 physicians with an additional 21 resident physicians completing their training in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency services, general surgery, medical stabilization for substance abuse, behavioral health for adults over the age of 55, and remains the ONLY cardiac rehabilitation program in Columbiana County. Responsibilities

As a Nursing Assistant at East Liverpool City Hospital, you will:

• Assist with activities of daily living.

• Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.

• Assist in maintenance of a safe environment.

• Work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate preferred.

2. Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

3. Knowledge of medical terminology.

4. Six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below):

1. Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current.
