The Job: As an Automation Controls Engineer, you\'ll be part of our Hand Tools & Storage team working as an onsite employee. You\'ll get to: Work on systems ranging from but not limited to - Various welding, machining, robotic automation, painting, heat treating, punch press and packaging equipment. Our team is consistently tasked with developing new and innovative technology and processes for our manufacturing and R&D testing lab. Controls system key components - Fanuc robots, servo motion controls, Allen Bradley PLC, HMI interfaces, vision applications, specialized testing equipment. Design, build, program, and install newly developed production related machinery Develop project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements, safety standards, and motor controls Provide cost estimates and timelines for projects Follow designs from concept to production Research / Implement - advanced manufacturing ideas and concepts Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements Update machine controls to newer hardware platforms The Person: You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.
