The Care Chemicals group has an opportunity for a professional like you to serve as Site Administrator at our East Setauket, NY location.

In this role, you will report to the Site Manager and be responsible for supporting various aspects of the plant and serving in several key roles. You will oversee various environmental, health, safety, and security programs, ensuring compliance at the site and acting as site representative for key programs. You will help oversee site training, ensuring compliance with corporate training requirements as well as helping with onboarding. You will have the opportunity to lead site committees to success. And you will help support various functions and meetings at the site to support each department.

Formula for success...

  • Leveraging your collaboration and planning skills, you will help support the site with arrangements for all events, meetings, and visits.

  • Using your leadership and collaboration skills, you will lead and support various site teams including the community outreach team and safety committee, providing guidance and direction, taking and distributing meeting minutes, as well as collecting data and information and reporting back to the teams.

  • Serving as site security representative, site information protection officer, and site medical coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work with corporate resources to ensure the safety, security, and protection of our employees and assets at the site.

  • Your passion for learning and development will lead and assist the site in various training programs, helping develop and track training programs, ensuring all employees are meeting corporate and legal training requirements.

  • You will coordinate onboarding and training efforts for new employees and provide training for visitors and contractors as necessary.

  • Using your industry experience, you will help support various site programs and functions, including procurement of materials and consumables, invoice payment, management of site supplies, management of facility contracts, oversight and stocking of PPE for employees, and payroll support.

  • Your will help manage and coordinate various other site programs, including management of change, action item management, audit support, and idea board management.

Qualifications...

  • High school degree or GED required, degree is a plus.

  • Minimum 5 years working in an industry environment preferred.

  • SAP experience preferred.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Pay transparency

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $63,200 - $79,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
