Position Summary:

A technicians responsibility range from digging postholes manually, to using power equipment to process materials such as cutting Pressure Treated wood posts or steel chain link posts. Learning on a daily basis proper ways of installing fence. -Must be able to perform general labor duties on a job site. -On certain jobs you may be required to drive work vehicles to and from job sites.

  • Working safely and efficiently.

  • Promoting harmony between company and customers

  • Being safe and courteous on roadways while in company vehicles.

  • Helping foreman/operator finish job on time and under budget.

  • Being able to take instruction from site foreman.

  • Work Environment The percentage of time this job requires contact with others


  • Being on time to begin workday.

  • Ability to follow oral and written directions.

  • Ability to operate power equipment properly and safely.

  • Measure and layout materials for cutting or styling within 1/16th of an inch.

  • Operate motor vehicle safely and courteously.

  • Work closely and directly for the team foreman.

  • Report any broken equipment or unsafe condition to the foreman immediately.

  • Report any personal injury to the foreman immediately.

  • Demonstrate the willingness to learn the trade.

  • Present a favorable image of himself and the company.

  • Good public relation skills

  • Knowing and applying OSHA rules and regulations.

  • Maintain safe work environment for yourself and public.

  • Checking and being responsible your truck s cargo make it to the job safely.

  • Required Behavioral Characteristics Integrity honest and ethical Dependability reliable, responsible and dependable; and fulfills obligations.

  • Organized an individual who enjoys placing and maintaining order in an environment or situation

  • Natural Planner enjoys conceptualizing and formulating ideas related to accomplishing an objective.

  • Structured an individual who likes developing and following rules, schedules and procedures.

  • Attention to detail an individual who is careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
