The Administrative Assistant for Army Lake Camp will be responsible for all office duties in connection with business directly related to Army Lake Camp (ALC hereafter), such as, scheduling group reservations and fielding inquiries from potential customers, overseeing related supplies purchasing, billing and record keeping, so that the activity of ALC is able to help achieve the mission of The Salvation Army. About the role: Perform general office duties (i.e. answering phones, filing, data entry, scheduling appointments etc.) Answers inquiries regarding ALC policies and services. Receive and resolve complaints and/or questions and concerns from guests, keeping Camp Director informed of critical concerns. Record and track all complaints to enhance training and customer service. Compile AR/AP for Camp Director to review/sign and then send to DHQ for processing. This may require travel to the bank and DHQ. Receive inquiries, generate contracts, and follow through by tracking deposits and signed contracts. Review billing statements for accuracy prior to mailing, making any necessary adjustments. Work with vendors and order supplies for camp. Compile and submit camp stats for divisional reporting. Assist the Camp Director with: Utilizing TSAMM to submit ALC matters for Divisional Finance Board approvals. Monitoring accurate presentation of information on the camp website. Reviewing and updating content to maximize effectiveness of the website in generating new business. Ensure that all marketing material, rental group contracts, and other materials meet American Camping Association standards and Wisconsin State Codes. Remain aware...
