Housekeeping will provide and maintain a clean, organized, sanitary environment for campers, visitors, and staff to work and live in during their time at Army Lake Camp. About the role: Performs housekeeping duties throughout multiple camp facilities including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, making beds, dusting, and cleaning and restocking bathrooms and showers. Strips and waxes VCT flooring. Cleans, treats and maintains wood flooring. Shampoos carpets and upholstery. Launders sheets, blankets and other bedding. Inspects for and reports on maintenance needs and issues throughout facilities. Performs minor repairs as appropriate and directed. Performs deep cleaning of kitchens, storage facilities, equipment, furnishings, and bathrooms during off season. Tracks, regulates and orders stock of cleaning supplies. Interacts with and works alongside other camp staff. Frequently interacts with guests, officers, and campers. Experience: Two years\' experience in custodial and/or housekeeping role, preferably in a hospitality context. The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
