JOB REQUIREMENTS: Lay out, fit, and assemble parts to make and repair tools, dies, mandrels and other components. Measure, mark, and scribe metal stock to lay out for machining by other workers. Operate drill press to drill and tap holes in parts. Inspect tooling and position and secure parts. Assemble parts into product and verify dimensions and alignments. Grind and polish tools and perform parts degreasing Operate acetylene torch for cutting and heating purposes ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Two-year Associates Degree or certificate from vocational school in tool and die or related field with one year of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of production equipment operations Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
