Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description

Lab Technician will be working hands-on lab work within product application testing of waterborne coatings and related market areas. Will be responsible for raw material qualifications from production and synthesis teams while maintaining a safe working environment in the lab. Should have excellent communication skills – both verbal and written. Key Responsibilities: Support Senior Chemist in product qualification work. Solve day-to-day issues involving formulation. Provide support to synthesis, procurement, and production teams. Complete other tasks as requested by the Senior Chemist. Hands-on lab work. Maintain a record of all lab projects (retain samples, logbooks). Maintain a safe working environment in the lab. Assist Senior Chemist to execute projects and communicate results in a timely manner. Complete application projects and accurately report data to the supervisor. Maintain lab equipment, replace consumables, and chemicals.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Chemistry or other sciences

• Experience in a lab environment is a plus

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in East Windsor, New Jersey.

Work Environment

3 people in the lab. There are several labs in the building between R&D and Quality each with their specialization. They will be working in the coatings lab under the Senior Chemist.
