Field Structural Welder

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Structural Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks on structural steel components in various field locations. This role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks on structural steel components using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.

• Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components according to project requirements.

• Conduct inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance with industry standards.

• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural welding, preferably in a field setting.

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Experience with miscellaneous metals.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to work in various field conditions, including heights and confined spaces.

• Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.

The Field Welder will be out in the field about 80% of time. Having reliable transportation and a valid license is critical to be successful and qualified for this role. Field welders will perform MIG and Stick welding on structural steel such as beams and columns. Must be able to perform steel erection as well too.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00
