Job Description

Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial buildings. Must be familiar with PVC, Copper, Pex, and black iron installations.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings

  • Work with materials such as PVC, Copper, Pex, and black iron

  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems

  • Install pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water distribution and waste water disposal

  • Perform soldering, cast iron fitting, and general labor tasks

  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and safety standards

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years of commercial plumbing experience

  • Proficiency in installing PVC, PEX, Copper, and black iron

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Experience in setting toilets, sinks, and tubs

  • Knowledge of plumbing systems and materials

  • Skilled in soldering and fitting cast iron

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with new construction projects

  • Familiarity with general labor tasks in construction

  • Ability to work with both hand tools and power tools

  • Commercial construction experience

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
