Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence Architect, Full-Time GENERAL SUMMARY: Senior technical resource responsible for the overall architecture of the BI environment.  Role includes designing the technical architecture and defining of best practices of the data warehouse environment as well as defining the data architecture of the BI reporting tool.  This role is responsible for leading development projects from inception through delivery. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Define the overall data warehouse architecture (e.g., ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Load) process, ODS (Operational Data Store) , EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse), and Data Marts) Define best practices and ensure data standardization among all data warehouse architecture including but not limited to load strategies, package scripts, schemas, dimensions, fact tables, etc. Perform basic Snowflake DBA functionality (Create tables, indexes, stored procedures) Experience in Informatica ICDM Power BI experience a plus LakeHouse experience a plus Leads the activities of the data warehouse team members in the configuration and auditing of the data warehouse to ensure quality control of data including balancing with Corporate financial results. Serves as the project lead for BI initiatives and can execute all tasks involved including the creation of BI reports/dashboards. Work closely with business partners to define key business drivers. Work closely with senior management and technical design teams in prioritizing new BI requirements. Define Metadata standards for the data warehouse. Understanding of source systems, particularly SAP to facilitate extraction of data. Design and direct the information access and delivery effort for the data warehouse. Involved in the selection of technical solutions for business needs

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in computer science, information systems  field with 7+ years of Business Intelligence work experience and 10+ years overall IT experience Experience in leading multiple successful enterprise data warehousing efforts. Expertise in data warehousing technologies (e.g. ETL, ODS, DBMS (Database Management Systems), BI) Strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional). Understanding of business data and its various sources including but not limited to SAP. Understanding of database technologies and data warehouse methodologies. Strong business and communication skills. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients. Must exhibit a proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite. Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills. High initiative and ability to prioritize in a high-pressure environment. Must be able to work on simultaneous projects.
