Sales Warehouser - Part-Time Flex Schedule
We're seeking inclusive and committed part-time Warehousers to join Frito-Lay, where you will be responsible for various warehouse duties. Although you will start working for Frito- Lay, this job can open the door to career opportunities with our parent company, PepsiCo.
With a flexible schedule of anywhere from 0-28 hours per week, this position provides an excellent opportunity for those seeking part-time employment with the ability to balance work and personal commitments. Shifts will be available Sunday - Saturday in 4-8 hour increments primarily on 2nd or 3rd shifts (5PM/1AM Start times, with potential for other shifts to become available across the 3 shifts dependent on the business need.) No specific timeslot is guaranteed, and other timeslots may be posted outside of those hours. To maintain employment, you must work at least 4, 4-hour shift/ month. Shifts are available to sign up for on a first come first serve basis and you will be trained on how to sign up in orientation.
It's a physical job! If you have never worked in a warehouse environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift. Here is a list of some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during the workday: * Load trailers via stacking cases on the floor of a truck trailer. * Transporting boxes to pick stations. * Support team with removing bottlenecks in shipping.
Shipping: * Scanning bundles of boxes and ensuring proper paperwork is included in each shipment. * Sending bundles of cases through taper/bander, properly consolidating orders. * Proper cart handling with OneRail cases * Outbound loading of finished bundles * General housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required (e.g. you may be asked to sweep the floor, help clean a trailer, take out the trash, etc.) * Ensure successful individual performance by meeting or exceeding performance time standards * You may be trained to pick/induct appropriate product according to order using required technology, but training and focus will begin in shipping/team support. * All other duties as assigned
