Our partner in healthcare, Stinson Family Practice, is looking for a phenomenal EXPERIENCED medical assistant.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in assisting healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and attend to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being

  • Maintain a patient load of 25-30 patients a day

  • Obtain and verify patient information, including medical history and current symptoms

  • Assist with patient examinations, measurements, and tests, documenting all relevant information for medical records

  • Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as directed by healthcare professionals

  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available

  • Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis

  • Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and scheduling of appointments

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

  • Follow infection control procedures to maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and medical coding

  • Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures

  • Continuously update knowledge through training and professional development opportunities

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting REQUIRED

  • Familiarity with eClinical Works (ECW) REQUIRED

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications

  • Proficiency in medical terminology and basic medical procedures

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program

  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant
