Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

Job Description

The Civil Design Engineer will work on both residential and commercial projects that involve mixed-use properties, subdivisions, and site plans for multi-family and commercial properties. Responsibilities include preparing engineering construction documents for residential, commercial, and industrial developments, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, earthwork, soil erosion and sediment control, and civil/site permitting. The role also involves performing design tasks such as layouts, grading, and drainage associated with civil engineering projects, preparing complex stormwater calculations and reports, and conducting flood studies and flood hazard area permitting. The engineer will ensure technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various plans, reports, and design documents. Additionally, the engineer will ensure that assigned projects are completed within the guidelines established by local, state, and federal laws, regulations, standards, and/or policies, and maintain accurate records, notes, and other required documentation for assigned projects.
