Responsibilities

Responsible for the supervision and performance functions within the warehouse.

  • Daily Duties Perform daily duties as assigned. Dispatch assignments (deliveries, pick-ups, service calls) to home care delivery technician. Divide paperwork into areas and schedule home care delivery technician to designated areas. Select equipment for current day, add-on(s) and next day deliveries.

  • Equipment and Inventory Maintain equipment and inventory and stock accordingly. Check orders received against purchase orders to assure accuracy. Record in EMR system in accordance with department policies and procedures. Test, clean and tag equipment. Record test results, serial numbers in the EMR system in accordance with department policies and procedures. Ensure broken equipment is repaired and documented in the EMR system in accordance with department policies and procedures. Provide Inventory Analyst with count of inventory stock and purchase requisitions to ensure all par levels are met in the warehouse.

  • Warehouse Management Set up and maintain bin locations. Maintain equipment by serial number and location. Track damaged equipment and items to be repaired. Maintain the flow of movement within the warehouse.

  • Physical Inventory Conduct quarterly physical inventor under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager. Schedule staff and participate in the counting of equipment. Summarize discrepancies for management and make adjustments as directed.

  • Inventory Control Responsible for monitoring inventory control process to reduce variances in physical inventory.

  • Files/Paperwork Maintain files and paperwork. Receive run sheet and paperwork from home care delivery technician/driver on a daily basis. Review documentation for accuracy. Receive and secure payments collected.

  • Marketing and Strategic Planning Assist with the facilitation of marketing and strategic plans within the organization. Provide direction to staff for successful implementation. Educate and support staff to achieve goals.

  • Training Ensure that patient service technicians/drivers are adequately trained and competencies are completed.

  • Vehicle Maintenance Ensure vehicles are adequately serviced, stocked and operational.

  • Customer Service Issue Resolution Identify and effectively resolve customer service issues through collaboration with Assistant General Manager.

  • Adherence to The Joint Commission (TJC) Standards Ensure all staff, vehicles and equipment are in compliance with all TJC Standards and guidelines, as well as all State regulations.

  • Adherence to Regulations Assure adherence to corporate compliance regulations, payor requirements and regulatory agency standards for the provision of respiratory therapy, durable medical equipment and infusion services. Assure that operational processes and customer files are consistently in compliance with stated objectives.

  • Personnel Compliance Responsible for adherence to compliance with all organization policies and procedures, in-service requirements and regulatory agency guidelines regarding to the scheduling, evaluation and discipline of Home Care Delivery Technician personnel.

  • Staff Assistance Assist management and staff members as necessary/assigned. Display a willingness to help others in the office on a regular basis to meet the challenges of operations.

  • On-Call Assumes on-call as necessary to maintain operations.

  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned. Demonstrate flexibility with job responsibilities in all areas.

  • Adheres to HMHs Organizational and Managerial competencies and standards of behavior.

  • Lifts a minimum of 60 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 100 lbs. and stands a minimum of 5 hours a day.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.

  • Valid Drivers License

  • (2)to Four (4) Years Supervisor Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent Communication Skills

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Associate Degree

  • Fastrack EMR

  • Joint Commission Home Medical Equipment Survey Experience

  • Two (2) Years Warehousing Experience

  • Two (2) Years Logistics Experience
