How You'll Contribute: Assist with the participant health care intake process Ensure medications identified on MAR are accurate when compared to the physician or pharmacy medication list Communicate with participants family, staff, or friends to regarding health needs Review health care protocols and physicians standing orders Delegate, monitor, and train employees Assist with distribution of medication and proper documentation Collect and document vital signs on participants as needed Perform additional medical services that fall within the licensure Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks Assist with medical equipment training when needed What You'll Bring to the Table: Must be able to pass an organizational background study RN or LPN licensure in the state of MN required Ability to handle physical aggression and challenging behaviors Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred About Us: True Friends programs include camp, respite, therapeutic horseback riding, conference and retreat, travel, and team building, serving over 25,000 individuals annually.
