CNC Machinist – $28 - $35/hour

Our client in (Eden Prairie, MN) is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team. They work in designing and engineering Test Systems for use in universities, laboratories, and research and development departments in various industries. Don’t wait… apply today!

What's in it for you?

• 4-10 hour shifts per week, you pick what time to start: 5AM - 7AM

What will you be doing?

• Low Quantity Runs - ONLY short tun projects (10 maximum at one time)

• Editing

• Set Up

• Completes work orders in a timely manner and delivers on time to planned dates.

• Documents inspection record per machine shop procedures.

• Suggests and implements basic improvements in processes and design for manufacturability.

What do you bring?

• Positive, can-do, collaborative attitude

• 2-5 Years Experience as a CNC Machinist

• Crane and Hoist Experience

• Lathe Experience

• Milling Experience

• Must understand and apply advanced machining knowledge. Machining tolerances and measuring equipment, tooling selection, machine setup and operation. Common machining symbols on MTS prints. Understanding of material characteristics and proper machining techniques. Ability to read and understand CNC G-code and M-code for CNC operators or ability to run multiple manual machines. Ability to enter machine offsets and calculate tool compensation for CNC operators.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
