The person in this role will be responsible for assembling custom back-up power systems including UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems, DC Power Systems, and integrating this equipment into custom enclosures. Reporting Relationship: The Integration Technician reports to the Service Department Integration Project Manager. Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Integration Assembly - Participates in the assembly and fabrication of Integration Projects by implementing the defined, detailed scope of work as outlined by Integration Project Manager Provides input towards scope of work, often in real-time; provides input and acts as a problem solver in the event of unforeseen electrical or mechanical technical challenges related to the project Follows both NEC and UL standards throughout production cycle Performs overall system functional testing as defined in scope of work Performs recharge of distribution stock UPS systems and batteries Maintains a clean and organized production area daily Performs other duties and assignments as necessary Requirements: Skills/Knowledge Demonstrates basic electrical knowledge Experience and familiarity with UL standards and NEC Strong Mechanical aptitude Creative problem-solving skills Ability to read and comprehend basic mechanical and electrical prints Able to effectively prioritize and multi-task daily Basic use of hand tools, power tools and electrical test equipment Demonstrates proper use of material handling equipment Adheres to company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook, Ethics Policy, and Safety Policy Personal Attributes Demonstrates innovation/creativity in work Possesses strong work ethic and takes ownership of both company and client goals/objectives Demonstrated ability to complete tasks within allotted schedule Demonstrates honesty and integrity in work and relationships Focused on collaboration and teamwork for the mutual success of the company and its employees Travel expectations: May require some overnight travel
