About This Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

The Regional Inventory Lead has the primarily responsibility for inventory accuracy and supply at the East region distribution and service centers. The position serves as an inventory liaison between sales, warehouse operations and the Keefe Group/KCN Corporate offices. The position is responsible for maintaining acceptable inventory levels at all East region locations.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Manage cycle count process (audited / manual) at the Distribution Center, Service Center, and On-site locations.
  • Serve as the inventory control liaison to Service Center and On-sites, research and correct internal inventory and transferred product discrepancies.
  • Review and approve new item requests & vendor order adjustments (VOA).
  • Review and report On-site & Satellite product losses. Assist with input of donated/discarded items. Arrange for liquidation, donation, or disposal.
  • Review negative inventory report daily. Research incidences of negative inventory, correct accordingly, and mitigate future occurrences.
  • Special projects -e.g., Inventory Analysis, Holiday kit programs, new location start-ups.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead annual physical inventory process at various regional locations as needed.
  • Systematically manage items fulfilled in KCN arenas (audit lot translate, bay/sequence and min/max).
  • Develop, maintain, and audit inventory SOP guidelines. Continuously train regional inventory staff on standard practices as needed.
  • Manage liquidation process of donated & discarded item through work with liquidators and warehouse staff. Ensure proper controls are followed.
  • Plan & Manage Kit Production & related cycle counts.
  • Reviews DC and Service Center out of stock reports and works to procure necessary supply.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Good experience with the cycle count process
  • Research of cycle count discrepancies
  • Knowledge of life cycle of an item
  • Identify SOP deficiencies
  • Able to do some travel

What You'll Need
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Strong mathematical skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ration, percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good proofreading skills.
  • Data entry and 10-key skills.
  • PC experience required - (Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated team player who can work independently and with minimal direction.
