In this position you will be responsible to the Commander for planning, administering, developing instructing, and evaluating a complete training and readiness program for all military members and civilian employees assigned to the 412 MXG. Works as an integral team member responsible for independent performance of assigned duties and actions associated with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and all aircraft maintenance/ancillary training/mobility courses in the Maintenance Training Section Course Catalog. Instructs F-16 Inlet/Intake/Exhaust Course, Engine Run (GE) Engine Run (PW) and Hot Pit courses. Learn and implement future and present advanced technologies training (hybrid training) as directed. Serves as principal point of contact for coordinating guest instructors, ensuring receipt of instructional materials and their distribution. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions located here Specialized experience: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Providing technical guidance and assistance to managers within the organization on all aspects of education and training programs. Includes knowledge of established maintenance missions, practices, procedures, policies, guidelines, instructions, and requirements. Analyze and evaluative techniques applied to the identification, consideration, and resolution of maintenance training issues. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Knowledge of aircraft maintenance-based programs and objectives, military and civilian training program processes or training program processes in parallel business and industry organizations in order to develop comprehensive training programs, identify training requirements, skill upgrades, and development programs that will assist in meeting business management objectives. 2: Knowledge of budget preparation as it applies to preparing operating and capital expenditure training budgets. 3: Skill in evaluating or developing course materials and instructional methods, principles, and techniques in order to develop self-contained training courses, obtain training resources and assess overall effectiveness in order to meet identified training requirements. 4: Skill in the use of automation software and related equipment. 5: Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, to include the ability to deal with a diverse group of employees and functions related to the management or performance of aircraft maintenance activities. 6: Knowledge of the goals, mission and operation of an education and training program. 7: Knowledge of DoD, USAF, and AFMC requirements for training planning and delivery.
