Ability to Obtain and Maintain Secret Clearance

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the execution and management of contract related logistics efforts and successfully managing all logistics and depot support issues for our programs.

• Manage and control the resources required to execute contracts in a cost effective and timely manner

• Interface with the customer and support customer requests

• Maintain overall responsibility for the logistics support function, and the development and execution of customer training programs and materials.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a US Citizen

• Ability to Obtain and Maintain Secret Clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field of study

• Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

• Understanding of ITAR regulations as they apply to the import and export of goods

• Relevant experience working with logistics/warehouse environment and warehouse management systems

• Experience with the practical application of Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques

• Ability to travel extensively, often overseas

• Prior experience with handling and managing hazardous/dangerous goods and materials

• Previous management experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Typically 2-4 years of relevant experience

• A higher level degree may substitute for experience

• Familiarity with operating military units, airborne SIGINT systems and aircraft sensor equipment

• Understanding of third party shipping vendors and requirements

• Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record

• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
