BAE Systems Cyber Security Engineer in Eglin AFB, Florida

Job Description

The BAE Systems F-35 Cyber Security Engineer will support sustainment activities for F-35 Training Systems products to maintain the Approval to Operate (ATO) on site at Eglin AFB.

The BAE Systems F-35 Cyber Security Engineer will also assess each respective system and support the build/install process for software product kits/mod kits that address Information Assurance Vulnerability Management(s) (IAVMs) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for each training system and training device under the following schedule:

  • Monthly Information Assurance Vulnerability Management(s) (IAVMs)

  • Quarterly Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) findings remediation updates.

  • Annual Security Assessment of Systems at Eglin AFB: consisting of delta Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) testing.

  • Provide support to update the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) with any outstanding findings.

Travel Requirements:

CONUS and OCONUS travel is required to perform cyber audits.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelors degree in a related field.

CompTIA Security certification is required.

Must be able to obtain SAP access.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Experience with IAVMs, STIGs, Security Compliance Checker (SCC), ACAS/Nessus, Powershell, and Trellix w/EPO.

Domain admin experience preferred

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $75510 - $128340
