Description

Robert Half is partnering with a reputable construction company to find an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. This is a contract-to-hire position ideal for someone with a background in accounts payable, particularly in the construction industry. The successful candidate will have experience with matching, batching, and coding invoices, possess strong data entry skills, and be proficient in using Sage software.

• Perform full-cycle accounts payable duties including matching, batching, and coding invoices.

• Process invoices for various construction projects promptly and accurately.

• Maintain and organize AP records and documentation.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Enter and verify data accurately in the Sage accounting software.

• Assist with month-end closing processes and AP reporting.

• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure efficient financial operations.

  Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in accounting or related field preferred.

• Minimum of [X] years of experience in accounts payable, with specific experience in the construction industry.

• Proficiency in Sage software is required.

• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
