Major/Essential Functions:
Provides clinical and administrative leadership to include monitoring and adjusting schedules/rotations as needed in both outpatient/and or inpatient psychiatric care services, administer training activities for outpatient and/or inpatient services and embracing continuous quality improvement
Provides patient care for outpatient and/or inpatient psychiatric care services
Participates in teaching and training psychology interns, psychology post-doctoral trainees, residents, fellows and medical students including presentation of lectures
Participates in academic research and scholarly activities in the Department of Psychiatry
Participates in committees and other administrative duties as assigned
Ensures compliance with HIPAA
Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine’s Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Required Qualifications:
M.D. / D.O.
Successful completion of ACGME-accredited residency program in psychiatry
Board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Licensure or eligibility for medical licensure in Texas
