We also offer excellent health benefits{target="blank"}, a lifetime monthly retirementannuityas well as 401(k) and 457Programs{target="blank"} under the Employees Retirement System of Texas.Essential Job FunctionsUnder the direction of a program manager, a nurse III conducts on-site licensureinspections, complaint and incident investigations, and annual comprehensive surveys infacilities to determine compliance with federal and state health and safety regulations inthe following areas: admissions, transfers, and discharges; resident rights; quality ofcare assessment; quality of life assessment; resident care plans; social, psychological andrehabilitative services; provision of medical services.Communicates clearly and accurately with others (internally and externally) to provide,exchange, or verify information, answer inquiries, or resolve issues or complaints in Texaslong-term care facilities.Conducts exit conferences with facility staff regarding findings and deficiencies. Completesinspection or survey reports detailing deficiencies, and narratives to support regulatoryfindings.Revisits home health agencies and hospices to verify correction of previously citedregulatory violations.
