Position Description:
Performs complex supervisory, coordinative and management duties in the preparation and publication of printed materials for assigned area. Responsible for the production process and may include scheduling, editing, and design issues. Work is performed under general supervision in accordance with established regulations and procedures.

Major/Essential Functions:
The Sr. Editor will assist the administrative core Director in developing and leading the writer's group and other educational sessions, or other tasks as assigned or approved by direct supervisor.
Edits and approves materials related to the CPRIT TREC grant.
The Editor will provide editing and assistance on all scholar and TREC pathway scholar manuscripts and grant submissions.
The Editor will attend all professional development sessions.
Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.
Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.

Required Qualifications:
