GE Healthcare Supplier Delivery Optimization Leader in El Paso, Texas

Job Description Summary

The Supplier Delivery Optimization Leader will lead the long term transformation goals of PCS supplier fulfillment with a special focus on supplier lead times, MOQs and other order setups. The role will focus on creating lasting and effective supplier relationships to enable procurement setups that enable higher flexibility of supply chain, lower inventory balance at factories and predictable fulfillment.

The role will also be expected to influence GEHC internal practices to best enable aforesaid long term goals - such as driving best practice in LT/MOQ management, LT/MOQ set ups for new as well as EoL parts, a sound and effective contract language, governance of set up changes.

Job Description

  • Lead Project Roadrunner 2.0 - to reduce LT and MOQ in line with PCS long term sourcing strategy.

  • Ensure a sound and best in class contract system that enables LT and MOQ optimization.

  • Ensure a continous and realistic funnel of ideas for Project Roadrunner.

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders including but not restricted to materials, planning leaders, SDLs so as to align organization on the Roadrunner goals.

  • Ensure effective and timely implementation of FAAs and other tools of LT/MOQ optimization.

  • Influence strong governance of setups related to LT and MOQ.

  • Effectively communicate across teams and with leaders on progress, roadblocks and help need.

  • Flexibility in supporting short term goals related to supplier on-time delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management.

  • Minimum 6 years experience in Engineering, Sourcing, Operations or Supply Chain.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of time.

Desired Characteristics

  • Minimum 8 years experience in Engineering, Sourcing, Operations or Supply Chain.

  • Prior supplier contracts experience.

  • Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs.

  • Excellent oral, written and analytical skills with the ability to execute and deliver on commitments and ability to influence others and lead project teams.

  • Excellent business/financial acumen, Strong negotiation skills and ability to act as business partner through horizontal teams with the ability to influence and drive change in a collaborative and effective way.

  • Ability to drive long strategic partnerships with suppliers and demonstrated experience in optimizing supplier base performance-Quality, Fulfillment, Cost, Cash and Contract.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams.
