ITC Defense THAAD Maintenance Supervisor in El Paso, Texas

Statement of Work

Location: El Paso, TX 

Position: THAAD Maintenance Supervisor

Overview:

The THAAD Maintenance Supervisor will supervise, plan, coordinate, and direct the performance of a Contract Logistics Support team in direct support of the Missile Defense Agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates all contract activities with supported U.S. Army THAAD Battery

  • Performs maintenance management activities, including production and quality control

  • Provides technical guidance and training to team personnel.

  • Supervises personnel performing the like duties of Automation Technician, Multi-Purpose Mechanic/Maintainer, Supply Technician

  • Provide supplementary management of administrative, medical, and certification status of all team members.

  • Provides technical mentorship to supported Warfighter.

  • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Has 8 or more years of relevant logistics and sustainment maintenance experience

  • Must demonstrate compliance with Army Regulations for Deployability to all Areas of Responsibility prior to start - to include the standards outlined in USCENTCOM Individual Protection and Individual Unit Deployment Policy, MOD-17

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License

  • Valid Passport

  • A+ and Security + Certifications within 120 days of start

  • Willing to travel or deploy as called to any location with little to no prior notice

  • Previous Contact Logistics Support, Integrated Logistics Support, or Field Service Representative experience  

  • Familiarity performing administrator functions (IP configuration, diagnostic troubleshooting, harvesting log files, SW installation, IAVA updates and monitoring) using Linux, Unix, Redhat, Windows Operating Systems

  • Familiarity sustaining and maintaining functional/multi-user information processing systems, peripheral equipment, and auxiliary devices associated with the THAAD Weapon System.

  • Ability to lead a small team

  • Ability to strategically coordinate activities and communicate across multiple tiers of leadership

  • Will prioritize multiple mission goals and factors simultaneously

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading small technical teams

  • Experience performing integrated operations with U.S. DoD Warfighters

  • Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License

  • Previous deployment experience, primarily as CAAF.

  • Previous experience with THAAD or similar air defense system

  • Experience driving forklift

  • Experience utilizing commercial automated Information Systems (AIS) to record maintenance and logistics activities.

  • Mastery performing administrator functions (IP configuration, diagnostic troubleshooting, harvesting log files, SW installation, IAVA updates and monitoring) using Linux, Unix, Redhat, Windows Operating Systems

  • Mastery sustaining and maintaining functional/multi-user information processing systems, peripheral equipment, and auxiliary devices associated with the THAAD Weapon System.

  • Detail oriented

  • Excellent speaking and writing skills
