We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Clerk to join our Team! In this role you will be responsible for the routing of products to retail customers. You will use various computer systems to make adjustments by route for next-day delivery to ensure efficient timely deliveries.

Our Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of clerk or warehouse experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid class C license

Our Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills required, specifically Microsoft Windows applications
  • Strong ability to multitask (answer phone calls, perform data entry tasks, dispatch drivers all at once)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain good attitude especially during time bound situations
  • Familiar with delivery routes and DOT rules and regulations

Your Responsibilities

  • Adjust computer generated delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries within the state load limit guidelines
  • Perform customer file maintenance to achieve effective and efficient and cost savings
  • Communicate with sales teams to ensure product delivery
  • Utilize Road/Net reporting mechanism to promote delivery efficiencies and cost savings
  • Keep an updated working status on Mobile/Cast equipment
  • Monitor Mobile/Cast to ensure proper use and appropriate route trips
  • Immediately report any changes that occur on trucks due to mechanical failure to the Transportation Manager and night loading crew
  • Submit case deliveries by driver to software for payroll
  • Keep track of driver shortages
  • Validate all CSRs time sheets for completion
  • Immediately report any safety hazards, injury, illness, or unsafe work conditions to the appropriate managers
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15 lbs.
