What You Will Learn:

In this role, you will act as the Commercial Finance partner for NYX. NYX is a L’Oreal owned make-up brand, with gen-z focus.

This role is responsible for leading the finance management of sales for NYX, in partnership with our central finance teams and account controllers in charge of retailers’ P&L. This role goes beyond Commercial Finance, as you will also have some responsibilities on gross margin. You will be responsible for assisting the NYX management, marketing and operations teams to promote optimal decision making. You will help NYX Head of Finance identify process improvement and accelerate the simplicity journey. Financial acumen and strong technical skills are required.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Weekly monitoring of sell-out and forecasting of sell-in, in partnership with sales planning and central finance teams.

  • Planning and controlling of Budget and re-forecasts for multiple P&L lines (sell out, gross sales, net sales, pre-pack displays and special operations), in collaboration with central finance teams.

  • Managing Nyx.com P&L and working closely with business partners to drive performance.

  • Providing detailed analysis and commentary on performance results and variances to Budget.

  • Proactively identifying risks & opportunities to expected future performance and forecasts.

  • Evaluating launches pricing with the marketing team and providing pricing recommendation.

  • Assessing financial impact of add and delete collections.

  • Partnering with other departments to ensure accurate financials, provide analysis, and support decision making.

  • Improving controls and streamlining processes/reporting.

  • Ad-hoc analyses, and systems support as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Finance or Accounting preferred

  • 4-6 years of FP&A experience

  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills, organizational and follow-up skills

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel expertise a must)

  • Effective as a self-starter; willing to work outside the confines of defined job responsibilities in order to make greater impact

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range: $92,400-$131,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
