Job Description
Brand new facility, growing company suppose to be the largest manufacturing site in Illinois.
Responsibilities
Operate Clamp Truck/Forklift to move rolls from various areas including trucks and warehouses to the corrugator for consumption.
Recognize and correct or report any safety, quality, or production issues utilizing the means and tools provided.
Follow instructions and work constructively to ensure shipment deadlines are met and unloading is conducted within the guidelines given.
Follow all safety procedures and intervene when observing unsafe practices by co-workers.
Maintain a high level of quality, productivity, and attention to detail.
Ensure loads are accurate and damage-free, offload incoming loads in a timely manner and put them into the correct location.
Use RF Scanning system to identify products and comprehend different grades of paper and proper storage locations.
Perform proper lift inspection prior to operating lifts and follow Lockout procedures as specified in the Safety Manual.
Maintain accurate counts when loading and unloading and assist with the inventory control process.
Work with computers, scanners, and printers.
Handle loud repetitive noises with proper hearing protection and work in varying temperatures from 40 degrees to 100+ degrees depending on seasonal conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
2 years of Clamp Truck Forklift experience.
Ability to work overtime, including some Saturdays if needed.
Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler, and use basic shop math.
Ability to learn and follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as part of a team.
High degree of attention to detail and dexterity in the control of company equipment.
Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs. throughout the day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proven attendance record.
Drive for results and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently while having a team-first mindset.
Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
