Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler who is comfortable being on their feet for the entirety of the day and is willing to be cross-trained in various areas. The role involves working through a 12-step process, ensuring the quality and functionality of modems at each stage.

Responsibilities

• Documenting received items

• Performing factory resets by manually pressing a button

• Conducting automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units

• Executing Wi-Fi tests

• Performing elevated temperature tests

• Conducting cosmetic cleaning

• Carrying out cosmetic repairs

• Performing In Process Quality Control (IPQC)

• Kitting

• Building pallets and packing out for shipment

• Shipping completed kits

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively with others

• Willingness to be cross-trained in various areas

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hand dexterity

• Punctuality

• Experience in assembly, packing, retail, repair, refurbishing, stock management, quality inspection, soldering, testing equipment, using RF scanners, computers, reading blueprints, and using power tools

Work Environment

You will work in a brand-new facility built specifically for our operations, featuring a locker area and a cafeteria with refrigerators and microwaves. The site is conveniently located close to major roads, gas stations, and restaurants.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
