Position Purpose:

Responsibility for leading the day to day activities of the department’s associates to ensure productivity, delivery, quality and safety demands are met. Hours: 3pm-11:15pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide data entry capabilities to generate shipping documents.

  • Provide logistics support for Supplies shipments.

  • Support the planning function to ensure flow through the operation.

  • Interface with domestic and international customer service as needed.

  • Lead and schedule the work of multiple associates and assist area in its needs. Provide input for employee evaluations.

  • Maintain knowledge of all area equipment and jobs.

  • Track and improve safety, quality, productivity and delivery. Create countermeasure when not meeting goals.

  • Able to fill out proper Hazardous Material documentation for both ground and air shipments.

  • Participate on or lead Kaizen events and special projects.

  • Support daily KPI objectives and maintain 5S and Kaizen.

  • Responsible to maintain a safety work environment

  • Responsible to have a good understanding of how my position impacts the environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education Required: High School diploma or GED.

Work Experience

  • 2 – 4 Years - in a manufacturing environment

  • 1 – 2 Years supervisory experience

  • Forklift Certification

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Ability to work with numbers and basic math skills.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.

  • Computer literate: Oracle and MS Office products.

  • Able to train new associates.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $30.00 - $35.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
