Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer has an opening for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist role. This role reports to our TapeCase division located in Elk Grove Village, IL.

At TapeCase, we design, convert, manufacture, and distribute highly engineered adhesive tape products. We add value to the highly engineered products we sell by enhancing their delivered formats by offering expansive tape converting services to provide a custom tape solution for nearly any application. You will be responsible for receiving materials into the facility and move to appropriate location. Prepare finished products for shipment. Obtains shipping cost quotes, routing instructions and arranges transportation services. Assists with training co-workers and continuous improvement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Executes all duties and responsibilities of Shipping/Receiving, Associate
• Arranges transportation services for outgoing sales orders through the customer\'s transportation portal or TMS (Transportation Management Service)
• Provides quotes and arranges international freight shipments through the companys designated freight forwarder
• Fills out various international documentation, such as SLIs (Shippers Letters of Instructions), filing EEI (Electronic Export Information), quoting, booking and confirming cargo shipments
• Collaborates with Information Technology and/or third-party vendors to troubleshoot system issues
• Arranges transportation services for outgoing sales orders by making requests through the customer\'s transportation portal or TMS (Transportation Management Service)
• Fills out various international documentation, such as SLIs (Shippers Letters of Instructions), filing EEI (Electronic Export Information), quoting, booking and confirming cargo shipments
• Proficiently comprehends and follows customers\' routing instructions, including but not limited to label, documentation, and transportation demands
• Following directions from the Warehouse Team Lead, performs inventory control tasks
• Trains other Shipping/Receiving employees
• Assists in developing job work instructions
• Provides input on opportunities for continuous improvement
