About the role:
The Operations Veralto Enterprise System Leader - Elk Grove is responsible for serving as Elk Grove expert on the Veralto Enterprise System (VES). The Operations VESL-EG leverages VES culture and tools to operationalize Videojet’s Operations Playbooks and drive high-impact on safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, and productivity. The Operations VESL EG will support the Elk Grove Director of Operations to improve and maintain a VES culture at the EG Site and help/guide the team in strategizing and executing critical initiatives. This on-site position will work closely with the Supplies Operations team. This close-knit team will work together to provide our customers excellent products and our associates an engaging and safe work environment.
This position will report directly to the EG Director of Operations.
In this role, you will:
Work with Operations leaders and associates to drive process improvement and growth with VES tools including:
Fundamentals: 5S, Daily Management (DM), Problem Solving (PSP), Transactional Process Improvement (TPI), Standard Work (SW) and Kaizen Events
Operational Excellence:
Operations: 4E Hazard Control, Lean Conversion
Supply Chain: Supplier Risk Management
Veralto Materials System: Kanban, Heijunka, Inventory Management at Gemba (IMAG)
Veralto Reliability System: Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Partner with all Operations VESLs, focused on developing the annual kaizen funnel, and directly supporting kaizen execution of highest impact process improvement opportunities
Partner with Global VESL team to develop Certified Practitioner/Trainer (CP/CT) funnel, and facilitate associates’ progression through regular meeting cadences
Work cross-functionally and cross-site to identify and eliminate waste in Operations processes
Support manufacturing process by driving continuous improvement for safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity, through troubleshooting and effective problem-solving analysis
Project management – Manage in-sourcing/outsourcing projects, capital equipment projects which includes managing internal and external resources for all aspects of a project. Inclusive of new product production builds in reviewing new product designs and developing fixturing and tooling to support successful new product launches.
Implement and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Are you qualified?
BS or BA Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s Degree preferred
5+ years of applicable work experience with demonstrated success in quota/target achievement
Experience with ISO 9000 / 14000 requirements
Mastery of a variety of VES tools
Strong Communications skills
Consulting/influencing skills
Familiarity with various manufacturing process technologies
Hands-on experience implementing VES tools
Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) knowledge
CAD/Pro-E and Statistical Process Control as a plus

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
