Loving Hands Transportation Office Assistant in Elk River, Minnesota

Hours: 9:30AM 6:00PM, Monday through Friday. (Full Time) Pay: $15.00 Location: Dispatch Office in Elk River Benefits: Business Casual, On the job training, Drug Free Workforce, Employee Sick and Safe Time (paid time off), and more benefits to come as we continue to grow! Required, upon job offer, applicant must pass: Federal and state level background checks that include fingerprinting and a drug test (includes THC). As a certified Special Transportation Service, we are legally required to have all employees pass a drug test within 24 hours of accepting the offer and the test does include testing for THC/Marijuana. About Non- Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT): Loving Hands is expanding our operations and steadily growing in the industry! We Provide transportation for clients to and from school, mental health programs, doctor appointments, dialysis, physical therapy, pharmacies and more! Medical Transportation is a fast-moving and ever-changing business that requires employees to be flexible and switch gears at a moment s notice. Office Assistant/Route Coordinator: As a Route Coordinator, you ll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient transportation operations. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: -Communicating with drivers throughout the day via dispatch software, email, or phone to enhance customer satisfaction and resolve issues. -Answering incoming calls -Tracking driver pull-outs, timeliness, and member no-shows. -Managing cancellations appropriately -Handling customer phone calls related to additional trips, member pick-up confirmations, and complaints. -Assessing schedules to identify opportunities for additional trips. -Monitoring dispatch software and email for driver messages and promptly acknowledging them. -Collaborating with your supervisor to address any issues that arise during the day -Providing accurate quotes for private pay clients -Billing insurance, creating invoices, obtaining and processing payments Driving: Dependent upon need and workload. -Safely transport passengers to and from their destinations. -Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch to ensure smooth transportation. -Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on company vehicles This list is not exhaustive of all responsibilities, but it provides an accurate overview of the job.
