job summary:

We're looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician with hands-on expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellence in production.

As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you'll work in a dynamic environment, assembling mechanical parts into sub-units or complete products. You'll operate tools, fabricate parts, and ensure production meets engineering and quality standards. Join us and help shape the future of manufacturing!

salary: $26.00 - 27.50 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: High School

responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical parts per manufacturing documentation into sub-units or complete units.

  • Complete small wiring terminations and modify or rework assemblies as needed.

  • Operate hand tools, torque tools, grinders, and small power tools.

  • Fabricate brackets, jigs, fixtures, and other metalwork to support production.

  • Perform quality inspections, document results, and recommend product improvements.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

  • Handle mathematical conversions, such as decimal-to-fraction calculations, for precision assembly.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

  • Proficiency in mechanical assembly, including:

  • Drilling techniques (through hole, countersink, counter bore, etc.).

  • Reading and interpreting mechanical schematics & blueprints.

  • Using measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, feeler gauge).

  • Knowledge of engines, vehicle mechanics, and fabrication.

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
