Parts Clerk - 2nd and 3rd shift ONLY!

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • At least 1 year of purchasing experience

  • 1-2 years of stock-room employment or similar experience

  • 1-2 years of practical experience in a related field of parts supply

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Maintenance Management Software (e.g., CMMS or EAM)

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision (no more than 25% supervision required)

  • Forklift Certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards

  • Manage stock-taking, receiving, and RMA processing

  • Maintain accurate inventory control through cycle counting and annual inventory

  • Oversee repair and maintenance administration

  • Maintain general cleanliness and organization of the stock-room

  • Adhere to maintenance processes and procedures (administrative, stock-room, purchasing, and accounting)

  • Contribute to plant projects as assigned

  • Actively participate in annual audit preparation

  • Perform cycle counting and issue parts to work orders

  • Stock and manage inventory of parts

  • Occasionally handle receiving and shipping tasks

  • Prepare service kits and pick parts for work orders

  • Understand and apply inventory practices and their importance
