Emory Healthcare/Emory University Visiting Assistant Professor Sociocultural Anthropology in Emory University, United States

Visiting Asst Professor Sociocultural Anthropology 2025-26 and 2026-27.

The Department of Anthropology at Emory University invites applications for a two-year visiting assistant professor (VAP) in Sociocultural Anthropology. In each year the VAP will teach five undergraduate classes, including sections of a foundational course on “Concepts and Methods in Cultural Anthropology”, as well as foundational courses in general anthropology and electives in the VAP’s areas of specialization. They will teach three courses in one semester and two in the other.

Salary for VAPs at Emory is $55,000 annually, with benefits.
