Description

Robert Half is partnering with a leading non-profit organization in Encinitas to find a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the non-profit organization's team, including managing schedules, handling correspondence, and organizing meetings and events.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and directing inquiries to the appropriate person or department.

  • Assist with donor communications, including thank-you letters, acknowledgments, and updates on fundraising initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

  • Coordinate volunteer activities and schedules, assisting with recruitment, training, and recognition efforts.

  • Support programmatic activities, including assisting with logistics, materials preparation, and participant communications.

  • Assist with basic financial tasks, such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and reconciling accounts.

  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization by taking on additional tasks and projects as needed.

    Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration or non-profit management is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other common office software.

  • Genuine passion for the non-profit sector and a commitment to supporting the organization's mission and goals.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.

  • Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.
