Good Shepherd Village at Endwell is looking for a Groundskeeping Supervisor to join our Landscape team!

Position Detail

Full Time: Day shift, 8 hours, Monday - Friday, Overtime as needed

Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Director of Building and Facilities Operations & Management, the role is responsible for managing the landscaping maintenance of various facilities including the Health Care Building, Village Center, Apartments, and Cottages, as well as all associated equipment. This includes overseeing snow removal to ensure winter safety. Responsibilities encompass supervising the Grounds Department, assigning tasks, leading training efforts, maintaining equipment, adhering to safety procedures, and managing pesticide use. Effective communication with clients and site owners regarding project progress and methods is also essential.

Essential Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

License: Valid Driver's License

Qualifications: Must be 18 year of age, Ability to read, write and speak English language. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements: Be available to work cases of inclement weather

Experience: 3-5 years of Supervisory in related field of lawn care and landscaping Maintenance
