SALARY:

$120.00 per hour, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU s compensation plan. RVU s full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain health history and perform physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and direct counseling for each patient on a plan for treatment.
  • Prescribe medication in accordance with Colorado statute and professional practice guidelines.
  • Arrange referral for patients requiring services not offered at Rocky Vista Health Center.
  • Review incoming reports (e.g. lab, x-ray, EKG) sign, date and follow-up in a timely manner.
  • Comply with the Rocky Vista Health Center Infection Control plan which includes personally utilizing universal precautions. Ensure compliance by support staff.
  • Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested.
  • Assist in outside medical public relations functions.
  • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings.
  • Instruct medical students while providing mentorship and motivation for learning in the clinical setting.
  • Participate in lab supervision of OMM students.
  • Demonstrate the highest standard of professionalism and ethical behavior in all aspects of personal and professional actions and performance
  • Demonstrate and role model an ongoing ability to work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors, and support staff.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to assist the university and college in fulfilling its mission and vision
  • Advance the prestige of the University and College through advancement of its mission, vision, and my personal career.
