Job Duties and Responsibilities

Be part of DISH, Sling, and Wireless innovation and strategic decision making with our Corporate Financial Analysis Team and influence our business from the bottom line. The Financial Analysis team is responsible for M&A and deal due diligence, ad hoc financial analysis, subscriber valuation, and project finance. We are a highly independent and relied upon team that is trusted to work alongside operational teams to implement strategic change. As a result, you will have the opportunity to engage with various groups across the entire company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive financial analyses, including variance and trend analysis, scenario modeling, and developing financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making and planning

  • Proven expertise as an internal consultant, driving performance improvements across business functions through business case development, operational efficiencies, and ad hoc analysis

  • Experience in supporting M&A and deal activities, including conducting due diligence and creating sophisticated financial and valuation models

  • Proficiency in evaluating subscriber-facing offers for profitability and financial risks, with a strong ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights to stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, facilitate team collaboration, and deliver impactful financial presentations to upper management

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • MBA, MS-Finance, or other related Master’s degree is preferred, but not required

  • 3-5 years prior work experience is preferred, but not required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills

  • Ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong interpersonal skills, a focus on team success, and ability to collaborate with wide variety of personality types

  • Results-driven and able to strike the right balance between detail orientation and grasping the big picture

  • Well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts in an easy-to understand way

  • Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts (Financial Statements, Accruals, GAAP principles, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of valuation, variety of modeling methodologies, and other key finance concepts

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
