Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting:
Participates in the monthly close process to include preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
Assists in verifying the accuracy of the Exec Book, 10-K's, 10-Q's and various financial statements
Participates in ensuring all month end close processes are accurately completed in a timely manner
Responsible for preparing and automating various components included in the monthly Exec Book
OneStream/Hyperion:
Provides end user support on a daily basis to Accounting, Finance and operational departments including resolving system access, connection issues, software configuration issues, and reporting issues
Promotes consistency amongst Business Groups
Provides basic, intermediate, and advanced level OneStream training
Assists in developing and maintaining ad hoc reports
Provides end user support by ensuring that users have correct access to Financial Reporting systems, verifies that the Financial Reporting software is configured properly on their machines, and assists with resolving various issues
Develops and maintains various financial reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, SAC, etc.) and dashboards
Creates new reports as requested by the Accounting and Finance teams
Oracle R12:
Provides end user support and training for the Accounting team
Creates and maintains cross validation rules, financial reports, segment values, and accounting strings
Ensures data integrity by validating OneStream balances against Oracle balances
Develops and implements mass allocations
Additional Expectations:
Actively participates in Internal Reporting Team projects and meets all the requirements related to these projects
Ensures all schedules, issues, and tasks for the projects are identified and managed
Manages complex projects from initiation to close
Serves as a subject matter expert for various applications and processes
Develops strong working relationships with the Accounting team members and other departments within the organization
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field of study
3+ years Accounting experience including month end / year end close and Financial Statement preparation
Skills and Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of key accounting concepts and GAAP
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
Solid understanding of Hyperion Financial Reporting, Smart View, and Oracle Financial Systems
Ability to assess and recommend improvements for processes and procedures
Willingness to learn new concepts and work with teammates to find solutions
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
