Position Summary:

Implements Physical Therapy services/treatments for patients under the supervision of a PT. Maintains appropriate documentation.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Implements patient care in a knowledgeable and skillful manner, maintaining a high quality of work performance in all areas.

• Demonstrates the ability to provide the proper assistance, verbal cueing, etc. necessary for optimal performance.

• Demonstrates the ability to instruct patients and/or caregivers in treatment procedures, home programs, braces and special equipment using clear verbal and/or written instruction.

• Effectively and efficiently document patient performance in medical record per policy and regulatory guidelines.

• Demonstrates the ability to effectively review the patient’s chart and communicate/collaborate with multidisciplinary team members regarding patient’s condition.

  Qualifications

  Requirements:

• Associate degree from APTA accredited school required.

• Eligible for or holds current Physical Therapist Assistant licensure to practice in the State of Oklahoma required.

• BLS required.

• Previous PT experience preferred.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Typing and computer skills required.
