Job Summary The Manufacturing Engineering Technician is a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering / OpEx Team that supports products and processes within the Plant with an emphasis on pump production. Responsibilities The MET is a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering / OpEx Team that supports products and processes within the Plant with an emphasis on pump production. Works with manufacturing engineering and production staff to define work instructions and work sequences in the development of new products and processes. Supports daily shop floor operations, troubleshoots, and resolves production and quality issues, and implements process improvements. Performs analysis, data collection, and documents operator standard work. Analyzes, recommends, and implements layout and process flow improvements. Works with manufacturing engineering and production staff to implement lean and 5S initiatives throughout the plant. Develops workstation and production layouts, balancing of work content, determination of labor requirements, material handling and storage solutions, process documentation, and provide operator training. Provides support with routings and BOM's in SAP. Helps to identify safety opportunities and implements changes. Basic Qualifications Associate's degree in Engineering or related field preferred Experience in process flow improvement and developing manufacturing processes 2-5 years of relevant experience within a manufacturing setting.
